Psychological Medicine Hospital provides the following medical services:
- Drug and alcohol misuse service
Patients who suffer from addiction are treated in our specialized inpatient
unit which has a treatment programme designed specifically to meet their needs
and help them overcome their addiction.

Our multidisciplinary team, led by a child and adolescent consultant
psychiatrist, offers an assessment and treatment package for many disorders of
psychological development including learning disabilities, autism, attention
deficit hyperactivity disorders, behavioral disorders, emotional disorders, tic
disorders, …ect.
- Brain synchronizing therapy service
We have a BST suite with the latest equipment that operates according to
international standards to provide a safe and efficient BST service for our
inpatients and outpatients.
- Psychology department
Our team of psychologists offer our patients different types of therapy such as
cognitive behavioral therapy, individual psychotherapy, family counseling and
group psychotherapy; in addition to comprehensive psychometric assessments and
IQ tests.
- Medical Laboratory
Our efficient lab offers a wide range of investigations and most test results
are available within 24 hours. Samples can be collected in the comfort of your
own home as we offer our services not only to inpatients but also to
outpatients and their families.
- Other investigations
For patients in need of EEG (Electrocephalogram) or ECG (Electrocardiogram), we
have trained staff and the latest equipments to provide this service.
- Pharmacy
Our specialized pharmacy has a full supply of a whole range of psychotropic
medications which may be unavailable in other pharmacies and offers its
services to both inpatients and outpatients.
- Outpatients clinic
We have an outpatients clinic which is run by Professors of psychiatry
specialized in different psychiatric subspecialties including addiction,
general adult psychiatry, old age psychiatry and child psychiatry.
- Dental clinic
We provide a dental clinic with free dental checkup for inpatients.
- Our Hospital provides 24 hours emergency services and domiciliary
visits.
- Patients admitted to our wards and in need of medical or surgical
interventions are seen and managed by our visiting consultants.
